I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience in the mental health and substance use field working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families in outpatient, inpatient and home-based settings. My areas of specialty include substance abuse, depression, stress management, anxiety, anger, and self-esteem.
I work with Court Ordered adolescents and adults, and have spent a significant amount of time working with college age students struggling with substances and life transitions. I use solution focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing and mind-body wellness goals to assist in achieving positive lifestyle changes.
I have had supervision roles in both home-based and outpatient settings. I provide clinical counseling for individuals who are dually diagnosed, as well as education for them and their families.
I am passionate about nutritional wellness and enjoy cooking. In my free time I enjoy anything outdoors and travel with my husband and family.
