My professional journey is driven by a profound commitment to helping individuals navigate their unique mental health challenges. I specialize in treating a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents who struggle with ADHD, Anxiety, Coping Skills, Depression, Trauma, and PTSD. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all service. Each client brings their own unique story, and it is my role to tailor my approach to fit their specific needs. To achieve this, I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities. My primary tools include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)in which I am certifiedmotivational interviewing, and trauma-focused techniques. I am also EMDR trained, enhancing my ability to address issues related to trauma effectively. Alongside my licensure as a Professional Counselor, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), which equips me with the advanced skills necessary to support those affected by trauma. My expertise is further complemented by my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a distinguished psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settingsfrom community centers to private practicegaining a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the mental health landscape. This experience has been instrumental in shaping my flexible and empathetic approach to counseling. At the core of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves to lead a fulfilling life, free from the burdens of unmanaged mental health issues. I strive to empower my clients, encouraging them to discover and harness their inner strengths to overcome the challenges they face. If you're seeking a compassionate, professional, and skilled counselor to guide you through your mental health journey, I would be honored to work with you. Hi! Im a nonbinary AuDHD licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with about a decade of experience in the mental health field, working with children through adults in community and outpatient settings. My experience includes operating an evidence-based program, Multisystemic Therapy (MST), in Northern Virginia. I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in social work at Longwood University and University of Houston respectively.

My areas of interest and specialty are in neurodiverse clients, particularly Autistic and ADHD, as well as supporting clients in grief work. I primarily work with adolescents and adults at present, and I do both individual and family work. I am LGBTQ+-affirming and come with an antiracist and neurodiversity-affirming lens. I have a systemic worldview and believe we do not exist in vacuums, thus I challenge the various -isms as they come up in my life and am always working to better myself and both recognize and reduce my personal biases.

I see myself as a guide on your journey, and I am here to facilitate that journey, not to direct it. I operate from a strengths-based perspective, and I use a wide variety of therapeutic modalities dependent on what works best for you. I am a giant nerd and sometimes bring my fandom self into the therapy space if it is helpful. I am an avid reader and incorporate a lot of Dr. Brene Browns and Dr. Kristin Neffs work into my therapeutic space.
